Material Innovations
I started experimenting with material making and fiber arts during a project that started in 2018 that used food waste (parts of foods that get thrown away in the food processing industry) as a way to create new biodegradable textiles.
From there I have expanded into creating bioplastics and resin-preserved accessories for clothing. I love to experiment with the materials and tools I have at my disposal, and rather than finding myself limited by the technology I have on hand, I try to utilize them to their maximum potential.
